Bridal and Weddings

When choosing a diamond for
an engagement present, one should consider these pointers. In addition,
related links follow at the end of the page.
- Preference.
Couples should discuss together the fiancee's
perferences. Remember, she or he will be the one wearing it.
- Pricing.
Two months salary, while sounding impressive
in commercials, is a huge chunk of money which could instead be the downpayment
of a house. Couples benefit greatly by asking themselves, what makes sense
to spend at this time in our lives?
- Idealism.
Be open to new ideas when looking at rings.
Often, customers don't realize the wide breadth of selections which are
available, and the customizations which can be done. For example, the webmaster
of this site had her heart set on a heart-shaped ring with 4 tiny diamonds
along the sides, in different colors (she also creates stained-glass, and
wanted that motif to carry over). After talking with Drew and seeing some
examples (which in reality didn't look half as nice as envisoned), she
chose instead a heart-shaped ring with three diamonds on each side in the
shape of leaves (one circle and two ovals in an asymetrical pattern). Different?
Certainly! And I've never seen the like since.
